The 2018-19 Guggenheim exhibition in New York generated increased attention for Hilma af Klint’s art and created enormous global interest in exhibiting her work. It is therefore with great pleasure that the Hilma af Klint Foundation announces that its newly appointed CEO, Jessica Höglund, will direct the art of Hilma af Klint to a new phase.
Prior to taking up her post at the Foundation, Jessica Höglund served as curator at Artipelag since 2011. A graduate of the Åbo Akademi University in Finland, her MFA thesis dealt with the position of Hilma af Klint in Swedish art history. After completing her studies, Höglund worked at Moderna Museet (2006–2009) and at Nationalmuseum (2009–2010), both Stockholm.
