The Hilma af Klint Foundation owns the photographic rights to all images of Hilma af Klint’s works.
The Hilma af Klint Foundation can provide high resolution images for publication in books, articles or dissertations. We collaborate with Rights and Reproductions at Moderna Museet. For inquiries for 1–4 images, please contact bildbyran@modernamuseet.se For inquiries for more than 4 images, please contact info@hilmaafklint.se
Image files are subject to a charge, except in the case of doctoral dissertations. As each case is assessed individually by the Hilma af Klint Foundation and Rights and Reproductions, requests may be refused. Permission to publish is primarily granted for publications about the artist, exhibitions and art books.
Images may only be used for the stated publication and may not be shared with third parties. Address and VAT number, required for invoicing, must also be provided. In connection with publication, copyright information must read: Courtesy of The Hilma af Klint Foundation.
The Foundation requires two copies of the publication for its archive.
A selection of low resolution images of Hilma af Klint’s works may be downloaded from the Foundation’s website. The images are intended for private use only, for example, in school essays.
